FMR Director Nikki Bell was disappointed in her joint bid with fellow-Council member Leslie Sopp for the MRS Chairmanship, losing out to Phyllis Macfarlane, former Chairman of GfK NOP.  Nikki has one year left of her third three-year term on Council, where she is currently leading the MRS Constitutional Review.  If voted through by the membership, these proposals will provide a much more professional governance platform which can respond to the rapidly-changing research sector.  Nikki would like to congratulate Phyllis on her new role and is looking forward to working with her, Council and the MRS staff team over the coming months on an exciting agenda for change.
